There are many ways that Americans celebrate Veteran’s Day on November 11, including parades, pancake breakfasts and cemetery visits. But Desks, Incorporated in Denver, CO celebrates the sacrifices Veterans make every day of the year through their support of The Navy Seal Foundation. Desks, Incorporated Owner Glenn Jones himself is a Veteran and former NAVY SEAL, and supporter of the Navy SEAL Foundation. His son Jeff is also a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and serves as Vice President of the company.
The Navy SEAL Foundation provides vital support for the Naval Special Warfare community, which include Navy SEALS, Special Warfare Combatant-craft crewmen and their families. Navy SEALS are considered one of the most elite fighting forces in the world, operating with deliberate stealth beyond the reach of conventional forces. They conduct strategic reconnaissance, direct action, hostage rescue and other specialized mission sets. The Navy SEAL Foundation addresses the unique needs as a result of this service and sacrifices, with more than 30 programs to help this community. These programs are designed to build strength and resilience, encourage optimal health, enhance opportunities for growth through education and solidify a sense of community and belonging. The organization continuously develops, evaluates and refines its offerings to ensure that SEALs, SWCCs, veterans and their families receive the most current and relevant care possible.
